Default image is br248, best for viewing out to 248 nautical miles. This gives a great view of what's out in the ocean, the L.A. area and due south. To view due East towards the mountains and deserts use cr "Composite Reflectivity" this looks past the mountains, giving a much better view of far inland activity.
